Varsity Volleyball Advances to the NCS Quarterfinals

The RCS Varsity Girls’ Volleyball team (11) traveled to Petaluma yesterday to take on the St Vincent de Paul Mustangs (6) in the first round of the North Coast Section Playoffs.
After falling in the first two matches, the Lady Eagles came back to defeat the Mustangs three matches to two with the highlight being the game four victory (with a score of 31-29). Player highlights include: Allison Lam, who had 59 digs, and Vanessa Harris, who had 42 assists, 19 digs, 20 made serves and zero errors. Coach Wilcox shares that his team looks forward to preparing for their next game. “We will specifically work on hitting more effectively and making wise choices that will help avoid costly, unforced errors.”
The Lady Eagles will advance to face SF Waldorf (3) at Annunciation Cathedral in San Francisco at 7:00 pm on Saturday.
