The Week In Review: October 13 – 19

0 Submitted by on Mon, 13 October 2014, 17:01

Can you believe that October is almost half over and the first quarter is more than half over?

We are having a great 2014-15 school year! If you have not been by the school to check out any of the events yet, please plan to soon! There is something about kids being excited that really keeps us focused!

The week of October 13 is a very short week. Thursday and Friday are non-school days as RCS sponsors a staff development opportunity serving not only RCS faculty but also neighboring schools, and a school from Fairfield, too! So be sure your child-care is in place for Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17.

And it is not too late to confirm your attendance for the 45th Annual Dinner on October 20. Space is limited. This year we will be honoring our Founding Superintendent Mr. Gus Enderlin, who retired on August 31, 2014, after 46 years in ministry with thirty-four at Redwood Christian Schools. There are a few seats available, but reservations are required.

Take care and have a great week!

Bruce D. Johnson, Superintendent
Redwood Christian Schools
