On October 23, 2012, Redwood Christian Middle School and High School students looked upward as the Air National Guard Black Hawk Helicopter circled the campus . . . and finally landed! The program was led by Redwood Christian Middle School Assistant Principal, Albert Castaneda, who is also a member of Castro Valley Community Action Network (CV-CAN) and Major Nance, the director of the Counter Drug program through the California National Guard in our region, who piloted the Blackhawk Helicopter. Major Nance stressed that students need to keep their bodies free from drugs, work hard in school and not give up on their dreams.
