RCS Softball Coach Jennifer Beck Named National Softball Coach of the Year by the National Christian Schools Athletic Association, and Junior Pitcher Clare Dunnegan Named First Team All-American
Coach Jennifer Beck’s Redwood Christian High School Softball Team finished the 2012-13 season with a 22-1 record. Throughout the season, she gave the credit for an outstanding season to her athletes. However, her coaching ability and on-the-field success did not go unnoticed as the National Christian Schools Athletic Association recognized her coaching success and named her NCSAA Coach of the Year!

Junior Pitcher Clare Dunnegan named First Team All-American
In addition to Coach Beck’s recognition, two of her players, juniors Clare Dunnegan (First Team, Pitcher) and Jena Forsberg (Second Team, Third Base) were named 2012-13 Girls’ Varsity Fast-Pitch Softball All-Americans. In addition to Clare and Jena, Junior Alli Davis (Infield) and Sophomore Jordan Huemoeller (Catcher) were named to the 2012-13 Girls’ Varsity Fast-Pitch Softball Far West Super-Regional Team
In addition to the recognitions received by the Redwood Christian High School Softball Team, Chris Johnson (Senior, Infield) and Marcos Valencia (Senior, Catcher) were named to the NCSAA Far West Super-Regional Baseball Team.
