Our students continue to be a blessing throughout the world while not forgetting those who live near and with us. I received the following note from Heidi Shupp, Operation Christmas Child, Collection Center Coordinator, Alameda County Team:
I wanted to express my thanks to a group of amazing RCS Interact students for their joyful hard work at the new Castro Valley Operation Christmas Child Collection Center this week (November 24). They were loving and gracious to everyone we met…church groups, families and individual donors.
They served on Monday which turned out to be our busiest day of the 8-day collection week. We packed and loaded over 4,000 shoebox gifts this day on to trailers. Our week ended with 13,540 shoebox gifts ready to leave Castro Valley and become gospel opportunities throughout the world!
A special thanks to the elementary and MSHS campus for their shoebox gifts and to Miss Kaitlin Suchanek for organizing the volunteers.
