Mr. Hearne’s Recommended Resources:
As we all know, there is no handbook for perfect parenting. Being a parent is often about experimenting to find out exactly what the child needs in the moment and what worked yesterday just isn’t working today. My first recommended resource is, “Supporting vs. Enabling” which is discovering that about the different ways that parents can help support
a struggling child without enabling improper behavior. My second recommended resource (which I discovered while reading the Axis Cultural Translator is going in a different direction. It describes the surprising facts that Google has learned about the importance of a well-rounded education, “The Surprising Thing That Google Learned About Its Employees – And What It Means for Today’s Students.” The third recommended resource is, the “Axis Cultural Translator.”
