2024 Summer Theme - “A Trip Around the World -- Summer Olympics Version”
With the Summer Olympics occurring this year, Redwood Eagles’ CARE will continue the adventure to different countries around the world and feature some of the countries that will compete in the Games. For 11 weeks, we will Laugh, Learn and Grow while journeying around the world through these 11 countries. We will learn about the country’s culture, language, history, food, art and of course, sporting prowess! Each week is “stand-alone” (i.e. register for any/all weeks). Weekly themed activities include crafts, games, science projects, music and stories and will take place between 9:30am - 3:15 pm.
Summer REC is for Redwood Christian AND local community students entering grades 1-5 (Fall 2024) unless otherwise noted. Students entering K will be considered on a case-by-case basis provided they have successfully completed a TK program. Students registered for full-day program (9a-5p) must bring their own am/pm snacks, lunch and a name-marked water bottle. Half-day campers must bring their own name-marked water bottle and snacks as needed.
Registration Policies:
All registrations for our Summer REC will be accepted beginning March 1, 2024, until space is filled.
Registration Timeline and Cancellation Policy:
Summer REC registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that some care weeks may have a maximum occupancy based on staff availability. RCS reserves the right to cancel any care week, with a full refund, due to unforeseen circumstances. We do not accept drop-in campers without prior registration.
Payment is due upon registration. Cancellation, by the camper, any time after registration and up until 2 weeks before the care week begins, will result in a $30 non-refundable fee. Cancellation within the 2 weeks before camp begins will result in a 50% refund.
Due to possible unforeseen circumstances, all Summer REC programs may be cancelled. Therefore, if cancellation is made by RCS, a full refund will be given.
- Registration closes two weeks before camp/care start date.
- You must cancel your reservation eight (8+) days or more before care week start date or charges will be incurred.
- A separate REC registration form is required for EACH student. However, students may sign up for as many weeks as desired on one form.
