Six RCS baseball players and three coaches served during Easter Break at 3 Crosses Church to prepare for their weekend Drive-Through Pantry. In partnership with Alameda Food Bank and Cross Streets ministry, volunteers at 3 Crosses are preparing weekly to help as many families who are in need of meals during this shut-down period.
RCS players assembled more than 800 boxes over two days more. Additionally, they helped pack food boxes that were handed out at the drive-through pantry event. Last Saturday, 538 families came through the drive-through. Additionally, 127 families received home delivery of food boxes. This translates to 3,248 people receiving about 48,700 meals!
