What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?

I teach Kindergarten.

What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?

I love that I am FREE to speak boldly about Jesus Christ and how I can speak life over my kids! Speaking Truth during this day in age has been so important–especially as a kindergarten teacher.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

RCS students are disciples who are training to be bold and impact the world for Christ. We teach wonderful curriculums that help students develop critical thinking skills, discipline, and insight.

How do you inspire your students?

We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works. As God’s children, we are continually being equipped for what God has called us to do. He has given us all dreams, talents, and skills to be a blessing and a witness to the world.

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

I want students to know their identity in Christ and walk in confidence from that place of security. Whenever they face academic highs or struggles, they know they are not defined by those things. They give glory to God and persevere with an eternal perspective.

What is your favorite verse?

Hebrews 11:1-6 “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…”
