Private Middle School in the Bay Area Medals in All American Invitational
Three of our middle school’s 6th grade boys medaled in the All American Invitational competition on Saturday, June 1. Over 40 students from eight schools competed in an Olympic-type setting focusing on sportsmanship, academics, and athletics. The multiple events include athletic timed events (rock climbing, running, and an obstacle course) and academic assessments (Math, Reading, and English). From RCMS, Devin Dellner earned two third place medals in rock climbing and the obstacle course, Adam Hendren earned a first place medal in rock climbing, and Nathan Shinoda earned two first place medals in Math and running.
Redwood Christian Schools in the Bay Area & the All American Classic
The All American Classic LLC began in 2012 at schools across California, the All American Invitational brought together the top three competitors from different schools competing in the program beginning in 2018 and is held in Tulare County. The keynote speaker for this year’s Invitational was Dr. Al Hearne II, Superintendent of Redwood Christian Schools, a former All American, himself. Dr. Hearne encouraged the competitors that your “attitude determines your altitude” and commended the excellent work ethic and sportsmanship demonstrated throughout the day.
