Middle School and High School Faculty Commend Students for Explore RCS

On Monday, January 27th, Redwood Christian Schools held its annual academic demonstration night and open house inviting all families of all TK – 12th grades and friends to come “Explore RCS!”  Classroom demonstrations, presentations from essay contest winners, a middle school science fair, and evidence of learning from all classes was displayed at the Redwood Christian Elementary campus.  It was a night of much energy, social interaction, and accolades for RCS students.  In addition, Middle School and High School faculty shared their praise and celebrated students going “above and beyond” to present that evening.

Here is what they had to say:

“The AP U.S. History class Explore RCS projects-which included a 5-7 page research paper, a complete summary display, and a well organized presentation on the topic of American Slavery by Ivy Kang and Emily Har-were Social Science highlights of the event.” – Mr. Russell (AP U.S. History)

“6th Grade Science students had a great time becoming their inventors at Explore RCS. I was very proud of their efforts,”and “The students did a great job at the Science Fair!” – Mrs. Bibby & Mr. Wilcox (MS Science)

“During RCS Explore, my students presented on various views on the origins of life. Many came to discuss these with them, and some challenged their knowledge, but they were able to recall much that they had learned even under pressure!“- Mr. Blatchford (HS Biology)

“It was great to see EI Sophomores acting as cultural ambassadors at Explore RCS night, introducing and explaining Chinese culture to RCS parents.” – Mr. Summers (English Immersion)

“I was very excited to see my students get involved in RCS Explore with so much enthusiasm, especially my quieter students.” – Mr. Edington (HS Bible)

We are already looking forward to Explore RCS 2021!  Save the date for Monday, January 25, 2021.
