Mr. Hearne’s Recommended Resources:
In Christian circles we often hear that the Christmas season isn’t about giving presents and although this is correct when it comes to our materialistic culture, it is technically incorrect theology. Jesus, God’s own son, is the ultimate gift that God gave to His creation.
At Christmas we are celebrating the greatest gift that we have or ever will be given, Jesus Christ. Therefore, my first recommended resource is a listing of books that can help teach children of all ages about the true meaning of Christmas, “Christmas Books for Kids.” My second recommended resource is a listing of “Christmas Activities” that we can do with our children to help them find Jesus during the Christmas season. As always, the third resources is the “Axis Cultural Translator” to help you stay current regarding American culture.
