Concert Choir Earns Top Honors at the Great America Music Festival

On Saturday, April 14th, the RCS High School Concert Choir participated in the Great America Music Festival.  The choir sang two songs for adjudication and earned a trophy for a rating of “Excellent.”  In addition, Rohan John (freshman) won best student accompanist. Following the performance, students were able to enjoy the theme park.

California’s Great America Music Festival is a fun-filled display of students’ vocal talent.  The festival is open to elementary, middle school, and high school choirs and choruses; it includes men’s, mixed, treble, and women’s choirs.  Students have the unique opportunity to perform on stage in the park.
