Mrs. Sanchez led the first ever high school Spanish Class missions trip to Puerto Rico on June 1 for a week of service with Forward Edge Ministries. Students and chaperones will be helping rebuild homes that were damaged or destroyed by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. Hurricane Maria is regarded as the worst natural disaster in the islands and it wiped out electricity, clean water, and cell service in addition to devastating damage to homes and buildings.
