Devotional Thought:
Holy living is God’s calling on the lives of every Christian. The Scriptures are where we find how God wants the believer to live, act, and think. Approval by God is given to us through the gift of grace Jesus provided for us on the Cross. But let’s not cheapen that grace by living a life displeasing to God. Instead, we are to work hard, be diligent in our thoughts, careful in our actions, and judicious with our words. If we do this, we will not shame God, or ourselves, and can boldly model Christ as we follow His desires for us. If we handle the Word of truth with purpose and seriousness, we will truly be a workman approved.
