What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?
I am the Director of Specialized Programs (direct Eagles Care and Club, Summer REC, and other complimentary programs).
What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?
I love our role at RCS because I can work with the younger students in various capacities while also engaging our high school students who volunteer in my specialized programs. I have the opportunity to train our older students to be role models for their younger counterparts.
What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?
RCS has a diverse community of students who come from all sorts of backgrounds, experiences and giftings.
How do you inspire your students?
I try to lead the students in activities that simulate their learning while having fun. Our Eagles Clubs and Summer REC are designed to engage our students in a different context that will complement their classroom experience.
What do you want your students to gain from having known you?
I would hope they remember “Mr. Lee” as a fun and balanced teacher.
What in scripture motivates you in your role(s) at RCS?
Ecclesiastes 10:10 “If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength, but wisdom helps one to succeed.”
I have reached a stage in my life that I know I need to not only work hard but also to work smart. There are many instances where I need to enlist the help of others to reach my goals successfully. Many others have been my edge sharpeners and provided me with wisdom to succeed.
