Pastor Carlos (Class of 1996) and Emily (Vasser) Montoya (Class of 1996)

Carlos and Emily both graduated from Redwood Christian High School in 1996, and were married in August 2001. They have three boys: CJ (13), Arden (10) and Matteo (1). Emily wrote “I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, and we are so blessed that our children are able to attend a Christian school. God is so good!” Carlos recently graduated from Liberty University and was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in June 20116. After 17 years working at AT&T, he left his job to be in full time ministry and is now the Lead Pastor at Valley Christian Church in Concord. Emily wrote “We are adjusting and enjoying this new adventure with our three boys and ministry. God is constantly challenging us to get out of our comfort zone and keeping it exciting when we do!”
