NCS Basketball Playoffs: Redwood Advances to the Semifinals

The 4th seed Redwood Christian Boys Basketball team had another exciting performance as it advances to the North Coast Section Division V semifinal following Saturday’s win over 14th seed San Domenico, 45-41.

Brandon Brown led the Eagles (21-8) with his 15-point performance including a slam dunk.

The game was a tight, back and forth, solid defensive contest.  The lead changed multiple times, but in the end, the Eagles secured the win with two successful free throws by Alex Williams, securing the score at 45-41 with 6 seconds remaining.

Redwood will play 1st seed San Francisco University  High School in the semifinals on Wednesday at Kezar Pavilion at 7:30 pm.  A rooter bus will be available for students wanting to attend this game, and the first 25 students to sign up will get free admission.  Details are communicated in the high school bulletin on Monday.  Tickets can be purchased on GoFan.com or at the door: $10 Adults, $6 Students/Senior Citizens.
