What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?
I teach 4th grade.
What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?
I went to Redwood through grades K-12. I loved the Christ-centered education I received. I want my own children to have this Christ-centered education, and I want to impart this teaching to other children.
What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?
RCS has a Biblical foundation, loving teachers, a strong community, and strong parent support that help students succeed, not only in school, but outside of school.
How do you inspire your students?
I inspire my students to gain a wealth of information through reading and effectively communicate the information they learn to others through writing and speaking.
What do you want your students to gain from having known you?
I want my students to follow God and to show and tell about God wherever they go, in whatever they do. I also want my students to be confident in their skills and abilities so they can have grit and perseverance to accomplish their goals.
What is your favorite verse?
Titus 3:4-7 “But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
