What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?

I teach Elementary P.E.

What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?

I love working with kids. I hope they see that I enjoy what I do and I am happy to be with them most days. I feel really blessed to have been able to find a career that I have always looked forward to getting up and going to and I miss them when I am gone. Also, my day flies by and I am never bored.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

At RCS we strive to know each student well and because we are a small school setting, there are many opportunities for each student to find their place and be known by the community of Staff and Teachers.  

How do you inspire your students?

I hope to inspire students to try things they may have never tried before within an atmosphere that is supportive, loving, and encourages mistakes as a path to new growth.

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

To point them to Christ. That Jesus loves them no matter what and HE is the best decision they will ever make and HE will take them through any of life’s hardships.

Psalm 73:25-26
“Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
