Gymnasium Update: Cement Pour
Submitted by Alyssa Kiefer in RCS Highlights on September 01, 2017
Significant progress was made at the Middle School and High School campus of Redwood Christian Schools on Friday. Thirty-two trucks carrying approximately 280 cubic yards of concrete began arriving at the campus at 7:00 am. By 2:00 pm, the crew completed the foundation for the Bruce D. Johnson Gymnasium.
The addition to the campus will not only serve as a gathering space for the school in such events as games, assemblies, parent meetings, and student activities, it will also provide open space in other areas on campus for a new science lab. With the gymnasium, the sense of spirit and community will also be further cultivated for the school and surrounding neighborhood.
