Fulfilling God’s Calling: Recognizing and Commissioning Teachers Moving On
Submitted by Teresa Hendren in RCS Highlights, RCS News & Events on June 01, 2022
The theme this school year was #GodsCalling, and with that, students, faculty, staff, coaches, and administrators were challenged to respond to God’s calling in their personal and professional lives. As the 2021-22 school year comes to a close, we get to celebrate God’s faithfulness, reflect upon what we have learned, and recognize the ministry of the RCS faculty, staff, and administration. We are thankful for God’s calling multi-talented men and women to minister at RCS, who provided the best education in the Bay Area during their tenure. Their impact and legacy has shaped RCS into the school it is today whether they have served for one year or decades.
God’s call to minister at RCS is always for a purpose and when the purpose is fulfilled, God provides a new calling.
To those who have received a new calling, you have been faithful to Ephesians 4:1-3 “I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the CALLING to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (ESV). May God continue to bless your ministry and guide your path. We know that your new communities will be greatly blessed by your ministry. We are praying for safe travels, smooth transitions, and we hope to see you again! We will be forever thankful for your legacy at Redwood Christian Schools.
To the RCS community, it is important that we recognize, congratulate, and commission the following RCS servants who have faithfully responded to God’s calling to new areas of ministry. Please join us in celebrating the dedication and faithfulness of their ministry and also praying for God’s blessings on their next calling!
