What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?

I teach Kindergarten.

What do you love about Redwood Christian Schools?

Everything we teach is centered on Jesus Christ and the Bible as the Word of God.

Why do you like teaching at RCS?

I daily get to share my life and my love for the Lord with my students.

What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to shape the overall experience of students at RCS?

I love reading and teaching my beginning learners to read. I love music and enjoy playing guitar and singing with my students.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

They are eager to learn and make friends. For the most part they want to work together and be a team.

The RCS tagline is “the education you TRUST for the children you LOVE.” How do you accomplish this in your role at RCS?

I want very much to honor the parents’ commitment to Christian education for their child by being a person each child can trust and work with to learn and grow in all areas.

What do you want students to gain from having known you?

I want my students to know that they are uniquely created, known, and loved by God. I pray that their response to God’s pursuit is to turn to Him. I want them to know that nothing in this life will satisfy except for Christ alone.

What is your favorite verse?

Isaiah 40:31 “…but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
