Chelsea Martinez wins Castro Valley Rotary Speech Meet

The Castro Valley Rotary Club held its annual Speech Meet on January 27 with the topic of “Light Up Rotary” as its theme.  Students from Castro Valley High School and Redwood Christian High School participated.

Chelsea Martinez placed First, Esther Smith finished Second and Ocean Cunha finished Third.  Chelsea won $100, Esther won $50 and Ocean won $25.

Chelsea has advanced to the Area 2 Speech Meet to be held on March 11 in San Leandro.
