MS – April Galvin

Position: Middle School Teacher

Email: AprilGalvin@rcs.edu

How did God call you into teaching, and/or what are your professional credentials (or prior work experience)?

God called me into teaching by giving me a passion for Christian education.

What motivated you to become a teacher at Redwood Christian?

Redwood Christian has been very influential in my family history! My grandma worked for Redwood Christian for 30 years, and my dad attended Redwood Christian as a student.

Tell us about your family and how they are looking forward to this new opportunity.

Everyone is very supportive of me and always ready to encourage!

What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

I have always excelled in both history and English. I am looking forward to teaching subjects that I thoroughly love and enjoy, and I hope to help my own students excel in these subjects as well.

Our tagline is “Inspiring Futures.” How will a time you’ve been inspired shaped your teaching?

Having grown up in Christian education, I was constantly inspired by the dedication of my own teachers. I will try to draw from my experiences in Christian education to inspire my students in a similar manner.
