Inspiring Fun in TK and Kindergarten

In Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten at RCS, students find that learning is fun! Students’ first exposure to the classroom should be in a loving, structured environment and RCS offers this and more. TK and Kindergarten are designed to maintain the young child’s eagerness to learn with hands-on, stimulating lessons, activities, and field trips.

Academics in TK and Kindergarten

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten at RCS are full-day academic programs (with a much-needed rest after lunch)! Our TK and Kinder teachers are meeting the developmental needs of 4.5-6 year olds including all core subjects are taught from a Biblical worldview with multi-sensory learning. Daily core classes with your classroom teacher include Reading, Math, Social Studies, and Bible. Furthermore, additional subjects are taught by dedicated- subject teachers in art, physical education, science, and classroom music. By the end of Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten, students will see that learning is fun through tactile and interactive lessons led by caring and enthusiastic educators.

Elementary Highlights

Student Life at RCE

Eagles Care

Eagles Care (EC) is the before/after school program that is provided as an added service for parents and families. EC is available from 7am to 6pm (excluding school hours) for students enrolled in TK – 5th grade during the school year. EC is closed on major holidays, but is open on Teacher Prep and Training Days. There is an additional cost for EC.

Eagles Clubs

After-school clubs are designed to be fun and meet our elementary students' interests in extra curricular activities such as STEM, languages, games, and sports. Clubs usually run for several weeks and are led by a certified instructor for the activity. Examples of Eagles Clubs include Coding, Robotics, Chess, Spanish, Chinese, Sewing, Running, Martial arts, and more!

Prepaid enrollment is required for each class.

Field Trips

Field Trips enhance the learning experience by growing students' critical thinking skills, gives students a chance to think about a topic or theme from a different perspective, and allow students to experience new venues. Some examples include:
