Inspiring Application in High School

It’s time for students to apply what they have learned in diverse ways at Redwood Christian High School. Our high school offers a rigorous college-prep academic program designed to meet the entrance requirements for the California State University and College systems. Each course is built on the foundation of a Biblical worldview and offers opportunities for students to apply content knowledge in various ways through project-based learning. By the time students graduate RCS, they will be able to apply Biblical Truth and use all of the skills and content learned to be fully equipped for daily living and eternal life.

Meeting future goals is unique to each individual student. That’s why we prioritize college planning as early as 7th grade! As many of our students attend RCS for several years, we are able to strategically plan class schedules, perform strengths finders, and help students keep on track to meet their goals whether university, college, military, or career. In partnership with the college planning tool Naviance, students meet with Mr. Huemoeller both individually and as classes to inspire students to strive for their goals.

Dual Credit

In collaboration with William Jessup University (WJU), RCS offers students the opportunity to enroll in dual credit college courses.

Dual Credit allows a student to earn college credit through WJU simply by taking approved courses taught by RCS faculty. These Dual Credit courses provide a unique advantage, enabling students to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously. This participation empowers students to make significant strides toward their college goals while in high school.

Dual Credit courses offer a genuine academic experience with university-level semester grades. These grades are reflected on an official William Jessup University transcript. In addition, WJU credit is transferable to many colleges and universities nationwide, significantly enhancing a student’s pursuit of higher education at WJU, or other institutions recognizing WJU credit.

Fine Arts

The Fine Arts Department at Redwood Christian Schools believes that arts are essential to helping students become active learners and critical and creative thinkers, two qualities necessary for a well-rounded education.

Every student at RCS is given an opportunity to:

Bus Transportation

Before School – from Castro Valley

We offer transportation for students in sixth through twelfth grades from Castro Valley to the Middle School and High School campus in San Lorenzo. The morning route departs from the Redwood Christian Elementary Campus, makes a stop at 3Crosses Church, and ends at the Middle School and High School campus.

After School – to Castro Valley

Afternoon transportation for students in sixth through twelfth grades runs from the Middle School and High School campus in San Lorenzo to Castro Valley. The afternoon route departs from the Middle School and High School campus, makes a stop at 3Crosses Church, and ends at the Redwood Christian Elementary campus.
