Description

Partnering with Nexplore, campers will be introduced to the basics of carpentry as they measure, sand, and build real projects – doing it all themselves from start to finish. Each project blends practical woodworking skills with math and problem-solving, all while encouraging teamwork, creativity, and the true DIY spirit. Young woodworkers gain confidence by taking full ownership of their projects, honing their skills through hands-on experience and personal craftsmanship.

Teacher Bio

Jumoke Jones "Jojo" is an experienced instructor with Nexplore for several years, teaching multiple STEAM programs, including the Woodcraft and the Structural Engineering courses at several local sites. She is committed to combining expectations and educational goals to provide the best experience for our camp.
