Description

Campers will be challenged in this 5-day, classroom-based learning experience designed to equip students with essential life and workplace skills not typically emphasized in traditional academic settings.  Through interactive, real-world learning, students build confidence in communication, professionalism, leadership, and decision-making, skills that support success in school, life and future work environments.  Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks.

Teacher Bio

Sonia Field has over 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, patient experience, and staff development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication focused on interpersonal relationships and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree. She is the creator of the iSMILE framework—Intentional, Service, Mindfulness, Inclusive, Leadership, and Empathy; a values-based approach to building communication, relational-based connection, and service-centered leadership.
