Description

Campers will learn the basics of baking: units of measurement, the difference between liquids and solids, etc. as well as discussing the science of mixing flavors and textures.  Campers will also write their own recipes (create, plan, develop a shopping list, etc.). Using age-appropriate tools, campers will slice/chop, measure, pour, stir, mix and of course EAT!! No oven needed.

Teacher Bio

Mrs. Fourie is the current Director of Admissions and Communications for RCS.  Prior to working at RCS, she graduated from Tante Marie Cooking School in San Francisco and worked in the production kitchen for Miette Patisserie and later as an assistant pastry chef for Zibibbo Restaurant.  Mrs. Fourie has catered private events, making cakes, cookies, and desserts for birthday parties and weddings.  She is looking forward to sharing her love of food and cooking with your child.
