Description
Campers will learn the fundamentals and position skills of flag football. The everyday drills (EDD’s) will assist them with individual competition (one-on-one) as well as group games that will be organized by size and ability. Campers must wear athletic attire (t-shirts, shorts/sweats) and athletic shoes (cleats are recommended but not required). Mouthguard is recommended. Personal water is required. We will have daily bible devotional reading and discussion on the word of God.
Coach Bio
Coach Coleman is the Head Middle School flag football coach at RCS. He has a long and distinguished coaching career at all levels. He is a former 2-time recipient of the Bill Walsh coaching internship with the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings, Quarterback/Receiver coach at Sacramento State, Head Coach Contra Costa College, Quarterback coach College of San Mateo and several local high schools in the bay area. He has a private football skill development program “There is Hope” which emphasizes football development and refinement, with mentoring through a biblical lens.
Coach Boyd is an assistant football coach for RCHS as well as an elementary PE teacher for RCE. He played football at Hayward High, Laney College and the University of Arkansas at Pine-Bluff (Division 1). He is in his third year of coaching/teaching at RCE.
