What do you love about Redwood Christian Schools?

RCS is a family I've been blessed to be a part of for most of my life. I attended RCS from K-12th grade, taught 7th and 9th grade English, helped in the classroom as an RCS parent, and then returned to teaching as needed as a substitute and the high school yearbook advisor. The faculty and staff are encouraging, hard-working, loving believers who pour into the lives of their students every day.

What do you love about your role at RCS?

As the high school yearbook advisor, I photograph all the fun events on campus from the Opening Games the first week of school to Fall Fantastics, Senior Unity Day, Spirit Week, Drama Night, and more. I get to capture the students learning and creating in the classroom and competing in athletic events as well. It's a joy to see the students working together, performing, and using the gifts that God has given them.

What sets students at RCS apart from students in other schools?

RCS students have the opportunity to grow in their faith in every classroom.

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

I hope they are encouraged to keep their eyes on God.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
