How did God call you into teaching, and/or what are your professional credentials (or prior work experience)?

I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I feel that God has given me a gifting to teach.  I taught for three years at a public in Castro Valley right after college. Later, after my children were born, I went back to teaching and taught for 7 years at Fremont Christian School.

What motivated you to become a teacher at Redwood Christian?

I love teaching and my children want to attend RCS.

Tell us about your family and how they are looking forward to this new opportunity.

I have two daughters enrolled at RCS and they are excited to make new friends, join sports teams, and try different classes.

What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

I love children and see each one as a unique child of God. 

Do you have any other hobbies/interests outside of teaching?

I like to spend time with my family and work on home improvement projects as I have time.

I am inspired when people pursue their dreams and use the giftings that the Lord has given them.  I try to inspire my students to do the same in their lives.
