What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?

I count it a privilege to be in this role at RCE and make a positive impact on the children's lives. Seeing their faces light up with excitement when they achieve a milestone brings me immense joy. Guiding children as they develop their character reminds me of the significance of our work here. Moreover, I am dedicated to building a supportive community for our students, teachers, parents, and staff. Together, we create an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Lastly, being an educational leader allows me to guide the direction of our school, keeping our academic standard high and ensuring that your children receive the best education possible.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

RCS students are eager to learn. They are excited to come to school everyday and enjoy the adventure each day brings. RCS students are striving to live and act in ways that please God and respect others. Friendliness, helpfulness, forgiveness and responsibility are traits that the school and RCS parent community are working to instill in the students.

How does RCS as a school inspire futures?

RCS inspires futures by first and foremost showing each child that they are a valuable creation - someone created by God with intentional purpose! At RCS, we do not simply teach content, we teach students how to learn - a skill that will benefit them for a lifetime. We work to develop a growth mindset that encourages students to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and persist in the face of obstacles, all of which are crucial qualities for future success.

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

I want students to feel seen, known, and encouraged in their interactions with me. I want them to understand their innate value and worth given them by God and celebrated by those around them. By showing them that they have worth and are loved, I hope to point them to the One who gives them worth and IS love.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

My favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 4:14-16, "Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
