What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?

I teach Biology, Honors Biology, Mandarin 3, and 8th Grade Bible.  I am also the Director of RCS Global Housing, and an Executive Council Advisor.

What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?

I love RCS because God is at the center of our lives. Students learn that our worldview is rooted in Christ.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

RCS students are taught the truths in the Bible daily, the student leaders are believers, and the administrators use Biblical disciplinary strategies.

How do you inspire your students?

Knowing that the students we see daily are the future of the world, I want them to be knowledgeable and creative leaders. 

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

I want the students to be able to learn from living things to know our Creator. Mandarin students will need to be able to communicate in Mandarin and learn to respect their cultures.

What is your favorite verse?

Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” It is comforting to know that God is taking care of all things.
