What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?

In the past, I have taught English Immersion classes, but am excited about a new opportunity this year to teach Mandarin I and II. In addition, I’m a Sophomore class advisor.

What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?

I love helping students learn a second language: whether it’s international students working on their English or American students working on Mandarin.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

RCS students get a holistic education saturated with a Christian worldview. 

How do you inspire your students?

RCS inspires Christian students to devote themselves more and more completely to their Lord and Savior; RCS inspires non-Christian students to seek a relationship with their Creator.  

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

I want students to gain a better understanding of the King of Kings and desire to walk closely with Him.

What is your favorite verse?

Philippians 2:3-4 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
