What is/are your role(s) at Redwood Christian Schools?

I am the Director of RCS Home School (Private Satellite Program) and teach middle school.

What do you love about your role(s) at RCS?

I love that Redwood is a family. We all work together well and complement each other. When you are hurting or in need, you can count on any one of the staff/teachers/admin to talk to you and pray with you. We all love what we do and most of all we love the Lord.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

The students at RCS really care for other students. They are concerned when they are absent or are not having a good day. The students can talk about God without fear of rejection for their faith.

How do you inspire your students?

I inspire my students by encouraging them. God has made each of us uniquely different, and we all have different talents and abilities. I struggled as a child socially and academically, so I feel I can bring true empathy to my students. I care for them and want them to succeed. I also want my students to know that God loves them so much.

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

I would like the students to see my love for God, and see His love for them.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
