What is your role at RCS?

Director of Admissions

What are you excited about for your roles as an administrator at RCS?

I love learning and am looking forward to coming alongside families in the process of deciding their children(s) education path and realizing the opportunity a Christian education provides.

How did God call you into your role as Director of Admissions at RCS?

In all my roles I’ve seen how God has put me there to stretch me and reveal the gifts He’s given me and share them with others.  Having gone through the admissions process myself, I am looking forward to helping families through the process of making the best decision for their children(s) spiritual and educational future.

Tell us about your family and how they are looking forward to this new opportunity.

My husband and I have 3 boys (Pierre-8, Aidan-6, Eben 2). Our older two boys are looking forward to seeing mom on campus from time to time.

Do you have any other hobbies/interests?

I really enjoy cooking, running, and travelling with my family.

What sets RCS apart from other schools?

RCS teachers and staff. Their dedication to their roles, their heart for the students in their classrooms, their desire to model Christ and point students toward Him, and their care and support for each other. It’s a place as a parent, I feel completely safe in sending my kids everyday and as a staff member am proud to be part of.

The RCS tagline is “Inspiring Futures.” How will you inspire the families you will be serving in the admissions office?

My path as an adult looks nothing like what I would have planned. The ups and downs and twists and turns He’s taken me on have given me a more fulfilling and creative and eye opening life than I could have ever imagined for myself. My hope is to be able to share that with the families that join RCS.

What is your favorite verse?

Lamentations 3:22-24 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
