What is your role at RCS?

I teach Transitional Kindergarten (TK).

What do you love about teaching at Redwood Christian Schools?
I love that I get to work in a Christian environment with like-minded employees. I love that in the TK class every day brings new learning elements and we are constantly in motion.

What sets RCS students apart from students in other schools?

RCS students are equipped with tools to discern truth that comes from the Bible rather than the world.

The RCS tagline is “INSPIRING FUTURES.” How do you inspire your students?

Working at RCS, I inspire futures by giving children opportunities to work and create independently so as to create self-esteem and a strong will to succeed.

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

To know that Jesus made them, loves them, and wants to guide their life. 

Do you have any other hobbies/interests outside of teaching?

I’m a very artistic person, I enjoy trying out many forms of art such as painting, knitting, sewing, carpentry and many other mediums.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

1 Peter 5:10 – “And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself RESTORE, CONFIRM, STRENGTHEN, and ESTABLISH you.”
