Redwood Christian Athletics Fall Season Highlights

From the Desk of the AD…

I'm excited to share that the Redwood Christian Athletics fall season is off to an incredible start with 10 sports and 14 teams across Middle School and High School! Here are a few highlights of our current season.

Middle School

  • Girls Softball (7-1) and Boys Flag Football (6-2), are headed toward league playoffs Oct. 14–18.

  • Boys Baseball team (2-3) continues to develop while competing against tough travel-ball programs.

  • Coed Cross Country, features 17 runners preparing for their first meet Oct. 10 at Garin Regional Park.

High School

  • Varsity Football (5-0) qualified for NCS playoffs for the first time in program history! They beat Berean Christian 34-14 last week. Next up: Kennedy in Richmond followed by SoCal trip Oct. 10 vs. Viewpoint, then Senior Night Oct. 17 vs. Livermore HS at Emerald HS.

  • Girls Varsity Volleyball (12-10, 3-4) is chasing both league and NCS playoffs, with Senior Night Oct. 10 vs. Berean Christian (5 pm). JV Volleyball (7-7) continues to improve.

  • Varsity Soccer (4-5-1, 2-0-1), currently 1st in league, aims for a 2nd straight BCL title. JV Soccer is competing hard and growing in skill.

  • Varsity Tennis, is rebuilding after graduating 5 seniors. Senior Night is Oct. 10 vs. Athenian.

  • Cross Country, is led by Gil Butler (15:05 at Joaquin Miller Park, 7th place). Strong contributions from Johnathan Elliot, Caleb Burke, Jolene Ho, Kate Goodson, and Genavie Mojica anchor the team. Senior Night will be Nov. 13 at the BAC Championship at Crab Cove.

  • Cheer, continues to grow with 5 middle schoolers and 12 varsity cheerleaders, bringing energy to games and preparing for Senior Night.

  • Girls Golf, a brand-new program, secured the first win in program history against Urban School of SF.

A huge thank you to our Booster Club, parents, and volunteers who make these opportunities possible. Please continue to pray for our athletes and coaches—that they compete with integrity, lead with humility, and honor Christ both on and off the field.
