What:
Summer REC is a summer-long enrichment program designed with thematic weeks to challenge and support your child’s many interests. Students will focus on the fundamental skills of various activities and incorporate fun, engaging games to reinforce camper learning.
Summer RECis for Redwood Christian AND local community students entering COED grades 1-8 (Fall 2026) unless otherwise noted. Students entering K will be considered on a case-by-case basis provided they have successfully completed a TK program. Students registered for full-day program (9a-5p) must bring their own am/pm snacks, lunch and a name-marked water bottle. Half-day campers must bring their own name-marked water bottle and morning snacks.
Who:
Led by Patrick Lee, Director of Specialized Programs at Redwood Christian Schools, our program utilizes many of the talents and specialties of teachers and coaches at RCS and other local organizations. All adult and high school student staff are vetted through our application process and will be directly supervised by current RCS teachers, coaches and/or staff. Our staff to camper ratio is 1:14 but we endeavor to lower this ratio as appropriate to the themed week.

NEW! For an additional cost, transportation from the morning sport camps to our Elementary Campus for day camp is available.
Registration Timeline and Cancellation Policy:
Registration for each camp closes ONE week prior to its start date. Summer REC registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that some camps may have a maximum occupancy based on staff availability. RCS reserves the right to cancel any camp, with a full refund, due to unforeseen circumstances. We do not accept drop-in campers without prior registration.
Registration Fee Schedule (Payment is due upon registration):
Early Registration: March 1 – March 31 ($25 off each camp)
Regular Registration: begins April 1
Registration closes 1 week prior to the first day of camp or when camp is full
Our cancellation policy, by the camper, is as follows:
1 month before start of camp (full refund minus a non-refundable $50 fee)
2 weeks before start of camp (50% refund)
1 week before start of camp (25% refund)
After camp has started (no refund)
A separate registration form is required for EACH camper. However, campers may sign up for as many camps as desired on one form.
