2019-20 High School Student Citizen: Mollie Quiroz

Redwood Christian Schools is proud to announce the High School Student Citizen of the Year is Mollie Quiroz.
The High School Student Citizen is awarded to a 12th grade student who shows leadership and ethics, excellent communication skills, problem solving and conflict management abilities, and community and global citizenship. RCS in a variety of ways, and has shown leadership and excellence in all of them.
Mollie first showed her leadership abilities as Junior Council Social Chair. She went on to serve as the president of the Hope for the Homeless club and a 7th grade camp out counselor her senior year. She enjoyed serving and, therefore, was also involved in the Interact club, was on the Christian Ministry team which served in the Navajo Nation for two years, and also participated on the Spanish Class Ministry team which served in Puerto Rico. She is kind, compassionate, welcoming, full of integrity, and made RCHS a better campus.
Outside of school, Mollie has been horseback riding for 13 years and endurance riding for six years. She has been a part of the United States Equestrian Federation and the Federation of Equestrian International from 2018 to present. She’s also been part of the American Endurance Ride Conference from 2014 to present. She is currently ranked 2nd in the nation for young riders (all riders under 21). Mollie is also involved in children’s ministry at her church.
The Redwood Christian Schools administration, faculty, and board are so proud of the impact Mollie has had on the RCHS campus and the impact she continues to have around the world. Congratulations!
