RCHS Homecoming Ceremony: January 25, 2014

On January 25, 2014, Redwood Christian High School of San Lorenzo celebrated their 38th Homecoming Ceremony and Games at Canyon Middle School in Castro Valley.

The Homecoming Court was selected by the student body and announced at the Homecoming Banquet on January 17 at the Wedgewood Banquet Center in San Ramon — a memorable event involving more than 220 students, guests and staff.

The Homecoming Ceremony included reading information about each honoree as well as a letter written by his or her parents being read by Co-Master of Ceremonies Al Hearne, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction and MSHS Principal, and Bruce Johnson, Superintendent.

Each member of the Court was escorted by their mother, father or grandfather: Hanna was escorted by her father, Chris; Haley by her father, Richard; Alicia by her father, Albert; Kelsey by her father, Brad; Alexis-Marie by her grandfather, Kenneth; Justin by his mother, Phi; Travis by his mother, Derenda; Leah by her father, Rayford; and Cordon by his mother, Jackie. Cordon’s mother was a Homecoming Princess at RCHS her senior year (1983).

A highlight of the evening was the debut of Redwood Christian High School Drum Line directed by Douglas McClure.
