Devotional Thought:
John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commands. Warner family dinner discussions are all about the events of the day. I love living life with a glimpse into two 7-year-olds’ and 5 year-old’s life! One of our most recent conversations had to do with the commutative property in math (first grade!!). After doing a quick Google search to verify our son was
correct, we understood that commutative property is simply a way to say numbers can be moved around to mean the same thing (1+3 = 3+1). Mind blowing for a 7 year old!! Commutative property applied to John 14:15 would read this way: You will keep my commandments if you love me. On the MSHS campus we began the year focusing on Love
God and Love Others. By doing these two things we can follow the whole of God’s commandments and desires for our lives. So, how are you doing? Are you keeping God’s commandments and in so doing showing that you love Him?

“Fabulous Five” As Reported By RCS Teachers:

I have asked each teacher to let me know the most fabulous thing that happened at RCS in the last week. On Tuesday mornings, Mr. Huemoeller, Mr. Warner, and I go through them and pick the “Fabulous Five” to share with parents.

Mr. Hinton and Mrs. Neal report: The Christian Ministry Team had a great fundraising event, a fun time for all who attended. The Lord blessed the team in raising $7,200 toward the Navajo Nation Mission Trip this Spring! Especially inspiring was how each missions team member brought between 2-4 RCHS friends to volunteer to spend their Saturday working together at various service projects without knowing what they would be doing in advance!. Mr. Warner reports: JV Boys Soccer team was highlighted last week when playing Lick Wilmerding. Our boys fought hard and as time expired they turned a 0-0 tie into a 1-0 victory for RCS!. Click Here

Mrs. Haserot reports: Seeing students get excited about Science learning about earthworms! #scienceisfun. Click Here

Miss Sierra reports: In Geometry 4 conditional statements written with Bible verses. Click Here

Mr. Sanchez reports: I had a student in Bible ask, “What do I need to do to ask Jesus into my heart.”
