Mr. Hearne’s Recommended Resources:
The first two recommended resources come from a Focus on the Family podcast that I heard recently, “Changing Your Relationships Through the Power of Kindness.” I was struck by one of the opening statements made by the guest, Shaunti Feldhahn, regarding her research on kindness. She stated that kindness is often difficult to define because it is
made up of three things: withholding negativity, finding things to praise, and doing something. Shaunti has written a book, The Kindness Challenge and has started “The 30 Day Kindness Challenge” on her website. As always the third resource is the Axis Cultural Translator, to help you stay up-to-date on the ideas being presented in American
culture.
