Redwood Christian Schools Celebrates with 46th Annual Dinner

The Redwood Christian Schools 46th Annual Dinner was held at Canyon View Banquet Hall in San Ramon on Monday, October 19.  The RCS Community came together to receive an update from Assistant Superintendent of Instruction/Middle School and High School Principal Al Hearne and celebrate what the Lord continues to accomplish in the lives of the boys and girls receiving a Christ-centered education at Redwood Christian Schools.

Featured guest speakers were 2010 graduates from Redwood Christian High School: Camille Dyquiangco, whose goal is to become a medical doctor and is competing in the Miss Contra Costa Scholarship Program next month, which we hope will lead to the Miss California Pageant, and A.J. Vanegas, who is playing in the Los Angeles Dodgers minor league organization.

Lifetime Recognition Awards were presented to long-time supporters Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Love (who was unable to attend), Alameda County Sheriff Emeritus Charles “Charlie” Plummer by Board Member Harry Bruno, and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Warner by Board Member Charlie Beck. Guests were blessed by musical performances by a men’s quartet and an instrumental ensemble, both under RCS Director of Music Mark Cagle.  We also were blessed with a wonderful art display by our students, proudly presented by RCS Art Teachers Sheri Blackburn, Deanna Green and Ron Lapum.
