Last Tuesday, the elementary students in Mrs. Wilson’s 4/5th grade Leadership class planned, organized, and executed a bake sale on both the north and south campuses.  We interviewed the class for more details.

Why did you want to do a fundraiser?
We wanted to help all of the people who were impacted by hurricanes.  We thought a bake sale was a nice way to earn money, and it would be a fun way to help people!

What did you sell?
We sold baked goods including donuts, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and everything delicious.  Family members, students, and faculty members baked and purchased the goodies to sell.

Who came to the bake sale?
Students and parents (mostly elementary) came.  There were sales at the pickup lines on both the North and south campuses.  Both locations were very busy!

How much money did you make and where will it go?
We made $625.22 and will send it to Samaritan’s Purse specifically for hurricane relief efforts.

Is there anything else we should know about your fundraiser?
THANK YOU to everyone who baked and purchased!
