To Mrs. Bicker,
When Jack was born we were living [out of the Bay Area] and we often thought of how incredible it would be if when Jack started kindergarten he could be with Mrs. Bicker. So when God moved our family back to Castro Valley the desire grew even deeper for Jack to be with you! We were delighted to have you as Jack's Sunday School teacher at church and even more delighted knowing he would be in your class for kindergarten. You are such a blessing to our family. Thank you for loving Jack, for pushing him to do and be his best. But most of all we are so thankful that your love for Jesus shines from you to Jack. We love you!

We pause from our hectic pace to give thanks to God for Redwood Christian Elementary, and especially for Ms. Masin! God has given her many gifts which we are grateful for: first, her genuine love and care for the growth and learning of her students. Second, her love for children around the world (Operation Christmas Child). Third, her gentleness and humility. Fourth, her great sense of humor and fifth her musicality! (The kids faces light up when she gets out her guitar). As parents, we wish we had had a teacher like Ms. Masin when we were students. First let me say you are my favorite teacher (even though math and me aren't best friends). You always bring joy and fun into all your lessons and I enjoy your class very much. You have made math a little easier to understand, although I still have trouble. You are a great teacher and a MAJESTIC friend. Thanks for letting me stay after school and chill with you. I have loads of fun just being around you. I hope that next year I will have the priviledge to be in YOUR math class and enjoy your teaching, but if not, I might drop in now and then to check up on what's new with you.

We have seen myles blossom and grow under your instruction and guidance. As you know we were very hesitant about Myles starting 1st grade in "PEACH", but if he were going to have to be in PEACH or Academic, I'm so thankful he is with you. The way you push him and challenge him to do better, to be better makes him so much more confident. When Myles is confident, he can do great things. For a 1st year teacher at RCS, I must say they have added a true asset to the staff and faculty. Please thank your little one at home for lending you to our kids for several hours each day. They are blessed to have you as their teacher.
