Dawn (Gutierrez Jennings is living in Antioch, CA, with her husband Howie and two beautiful daughters, Kaity (13--"oh my, we've hit the teenage years!") and Amanda (10). Dawn and Howie are about to celebrate their 14th anniversary. Dawn has found her passion, and it is travel! Mark and Kathy (Stirling, '85) Gaither are the proud parents of a new baby girl, Amelia Karrine, born on April 23, 2003, at 2:23 a.m. Amelia weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces at birth and was 21 inches long. She joins her 2 sisters and 3 brothers in the Gaither household!

Pray for Garic Watson, who left on Saturday, April 12, for the war. When he is home, he's stationed at Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where his wife, Tammy, and children, Rebekah (9) and Collin (3), are living.

Darelyn (VanTassel) Payes and her family have moved to Plymouth, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis, where Darelyn works for the Target Corporation. She says, "The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful neighborhood and a good Christian school for our son Marcos, who is now in the fourth grade." (He was at Crossroads.) Jerry Valerga has moved to Lodi and is engaged to marry Roxanne Catalono, though no date has been set. He is a Journeyman Electrician currently, but is considering becoming a psych tech. Garic Watson is currently serving a 1-year tour at Kunsan Air Force Base in South Korea as an Air Traffic Control Watch Supervisor for the Radar Approach Control. His his wife Tammy, daughtere Rebekah (7), and son Collin (22 months) are living with his in-laws in San Antonio, TX. When Garic returns, they will move to Elgin AFB, FL, just north of Ft. Walton Beach. This July will mark 16 years in the Air Force for Garic! He says, "I still feel like it was just the other day that I was sitting on the top row of the stage at Neighborhood Church graduating as the class of "85." Paul and Becky (Nesbitt) Mares have a new addition to their family! Cassandra Rose was born on July 19, weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and 20-1/2 inches long. She joins Katherine, John Paul, and Kristiana. The Mares family recently moved from Santa Barbara to Solvang, CA.

April 28, 2000

Mark and Kathy (Stirling) Gaither welcomed Conrad Isaac into their family on April 28 at 12:46 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, was 20-1/2 inches long, and is in perfect health. Conrad joins two brothers and two sisters in the Gaither home, and his birthday is one day before his brother Evan's! Mark is a 1980 RCHS grad, and Kathy, who graduated in 1985, has been teaching P.E. at the Crossroads campus for the last 11 years.
