The RCHS Class of 1984

February 2008

A note and a picture from
Triona McCracken Anderson says:

Mark and I got married eight years ago. He is now a Bellevue firefighter on a truck company. I worked with youth for several years, lastly as Cornerstone Fellowship's (Livermore) youth director. After teaching in high school classrooms for 15 yrs in both Dublin and Seattle, I now work with home-school families while staying home with the kids. We live outside of Seattle, and attend Mars Hill Church.

Willie Seuis (RCHS Class of 1984) went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on the afternoon of July 22, 2004. He was involved in a fatal traffic accident in the Castro Valley area while heading home on his police motorcycle. Willie was a police officer with the Oakland Police Department and had served for fifteen years.

Willie was married and had two children. He is the son of Tom and Betty Seuis, the younger brother of Lynn (Seuis) Conley, Class of 1980, who has taught and continues to teach at RCS, and the older brother of Brent Seuis, Class of 1987.

Willie will be remembered for his gentle spirit and love for his family and sports. He will be missed, but we are confident that we will see him again.

Memorial services, including full police honors, for Willie were held Wednesday, July 28th, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley.

A trust fund has been set up and donations can be made to the Seuis Family Trust, care of the Deuel Group at Merrill Lynch, Suite 2200, 111 Broadway, Oakland, 94607.

Candy says that Kevin is a great father--"He always makes time to take the kids fishing and camping, and he is a regular at Back to School nights, football games and choir performances." About a month after Wesley's birth, Kevin was severely injured in a car accident. There was extensive damage to his spine, and it took him over a year to recover from the surgery.
